Beautiful comment! I loved it.

Unfortunately, although Muslims in North America are hospitable, gracious and moderate, those in the middle east and Asia are not so much. The majority of them are not ‘active’ extremists, but are extremist at heart.

It is a sad fact, but a fact nonetheless.

Of course, you are completely correct!

The problems we are having are not with ‘Muslims’ at all. They are to do with ‘extremists who, in this case, happen to be Muslim’!!! And ‘extremists’, whatever their ’cause’, are dangerous and must be exposed for what they are.

It is reasonable and moderate people from that very same ’cause’ who are best positioned to expose the extremists for what they are – and Mr. Fatah has worked hard and long to do just that! For this, he has my respect and thanks.

And Mr Fatah’s remarks reflect the greater muslim community I have encountered in the GSPLAJ who have proven beyond a doubt to be hospitable, gracious and accepting of this foreigner in their midst. Interestingly, it’s the western free press that actually gives voice to these spewing bigots, whose words would fall on a limited number of deaf ears otherwise. Maybe we should not give them a voice and see how loud they can get in real life. Three cheers, Tarek.
