Yes, you are quite right.

In my posts in the past, I have compared the current hysteria to a patient whose temperature goes up by two or three degrees overnight: putting him in an ice bath to slow the rise in his temperature may sound good – except for a patient who is coming out of hypothermia! Similarly, the Earth might warm a little as it comes out of the Little Ice Age….

But, there is something ELSE here.

This is NOT about the TEMPERATURE rise being natural.

It is about the CO2 rise being natural.

Because our spin-meisters are now telling us: forget the temperature records so far, there ‘may’ have been tampering, so let’s look at some other ‘thing’ we CAN measure. Hey, look: the CO2 is spiking! This MUST be the Greenhouse thing – so, this IS true, so we MUST take away your money AND some of your freedoms in order to fight it.

Because, that IS what they are saying.

And I am trying to point out that the CO2 rise might – just might – be as natural as everything else. Not only that it is not harmful of itself, but that we ought to have been expecting it! As part of the 800-year cycle: temperature goes up, 800 years later, CO2 spikes up.

So, the rise in CO2 is NOT a ‘confirmation’ that we ought to continue on the ‘cap-and-trade’ path….which we are being told it is….to shut us up and make us drink the Kool-Aid.
