I guess if our Prime Minister were a Muslim Monarch, Obama would be bowing to him instead of snubbing him – and, by extension, all of Canada.
Perhaps this is a signal that President Obama is not planning to live up to the Free Trade Agreement… The arrogance of this man has no bounds!

Ouch! That was some critique! If this wasn’t an arrogant snub the only other explanation is that the Obama Whitehouse is run by a bunch of rank amateurs.

What a coup for CTV to get Mr. Plitkin, a lowly Washington DC Municipal Council columnist. Talk about an authority. Then of course Obama´s Chief Protocol Official had to address the media subsequently to point out that ALL foreign visitors of state are greeted by her staff on the front steps. This is Obama´s new protocol for all White House visits, since assuming the Presidency. Plitkin was a weak weak choice by CTV and he obviously has no clue as to how affairs work in the White House. Prime Minister Harper deserved far better coverage of his impressive visits to Washingtom, Pittsburgh and New York this past week. It´s just so fortunate PM Harper wasn´t 80 seconds late for a photo op this time!!! Surely it would have been top of the news for our bona fide journalists.
