Hello everyone!
I would like to invite you to join me to exercise our most fundamental right, freedom of speech – while we still can.
What: Free Speech Wall
When: Friday, May 20th, 2016, 12 noon – 2 pm
Where: Parliament Hill, Ottawa
Why: to exercise our freedom of speech at the occasion of International Draw Mohammed Day.
We provide the space, you exercise your unfettered* Freedom of Speech
*A few minor limitations apply. Permit says we must not breech hate speech laws, or write or draw anything obscene or offensive or, like, mean. Oh, and I’m not allowed to have any structure that people could write or draw on…don’t worry, I’ve figured out a way!!!

Good for you to keep up the fight, with courage and intelligence. The up-hill battle has become more challenging since you have replaced a courageous Mr. Harper with an – at best – “Obama Light”. Am too far away from Canada, otherwise I would attend !

Xanthippa:
Good to see you’re at it again!
I must ask, though: how is it possible to have a free speech wall in the absence of “any structure that people could write or draw on”…?

With a little help from some friends!
I am very lucky to have a few friends brave enough to join me in this.
We will line up, shoulder to shoulder, each holding a sign or two, side by side, like bricks forming the free speech wall.

Xanthippa:
Ha! Good for you!
Illegitimi non carborundum!
Still, I’m curious to know how the bureaucritters justified this insultingly ridiculous requirement…

Just got back!
Alive and unarrested and all kinds of excellent things.
Will post pics and/or video soon, now I need a long nap…
As for the bureaucrats: what do you mean, ‘justified’? They don’t have to justify anything to us little people!
