Despite the horrible things that happened that day, this fills me with hope. Why? Because when these people – whom I imagene to be ‘like you and I’ – were in that unthinkably horrible situation, they chose to do the right thing. It fills me with hope that ‘you and I’ really are like they were.
The Oracle of Delphi called Socrates 'the wisest man' because he said:
"I know I know nothing!"
Of course, he only knew this because his wife, Xanthippe, told him so.
Every day!
