When asked by a young man if he should seek to marry, Socrates answered him:
“By all means marry: if you get a good wife, you will be happy; if you get a bad one, you will become a philosopher.”
The Oracle of Delphi called Socrates 'the wisest man' because he said:
"I know I know nothing!"
Of course, he only knew this because his wife, Xanthippe, told him so.

i think the right first step would be to kick the weakest states out of the union, starting with greece. this is the most efficient solution, however it is also the least palatable. nobody wants to be brave or bold and it’s easier to be a yes-man.
for the past 5 years, a lot of bloggers and thinkers have been saying that the “big one” is coming where there will be a giant collapse after all the debt and fake artificial money circling around. that time is looming, but it has yet to come. so far, we haven’t seen any financial tragedies (just ones in the works).
Xanthippa says:
The EU is not a workable political union: adding an extra layer of unelected bureaucrats to choke the economy in red tape will not put the member countries into any condition to ‘sail through’ any future financial crisis without violent unrest….and the Ponzi scheme of socialist entitlements in EU ensures that this crisis is coming.
