U.S. Officials said the U.S. would ensure that bin Laden’s body was handled in accordance with Islamic tradition.
Why? Didn’t Barack Obama say this:
“We must also reaffirm that the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. Bin Laden was not a Muslim leader. He was a mass murderer of Muslims.”

From the bit of surfing I have done today, it seems to me (though I am not certain – just that this is the most likely version of the story, nothing more!) that the ‘fake’ picture was specifically engineered to be easily spotted as a fake.
The top half of the face is a very recognizable, gruesome dead-guy-photo that has been circulating in the Middle East for at least 4 years: anyone from there who saw the distinct eye-sockets would recognize it.
The bottom half of the face is a mirror of THE most recognizable ‘recruiting’ photo of bin Laden to circulate in them ‘…stan’ lands. Again, instantly recognizable to the people there.
Now, it seems to me that the picture was first published by an ‘Islamic’ newspaper from the Middle East (perhaps Yemen) that said it did not know if it was an authentic image or not….
And the reason for creating the photo?
Specifically so that Muslims in the ‘…stan’ regions and the Middle East would think the US capture-and-kill of bin Laden is a fake….
This is also an interesting photograph – you’ll have to scroll down a bunch – showing the faces of Obama and Clinton as they (according to the commentary) are watching live the attack during which bin Laden was killed.
Dumping the body was idiotic: but, I suspect they wanted to get rid of it so there would not be any ‘monument’ left behind.
Unless, of course, there was some good reason to do this.
Like, say, that they happened to have a ‘chat’ with him before they killed him – and the body carried obvious signs of torture or something…
Whoever is handling this – badly done indeed!

BTW – that photo – my hubby says that that photo pretty much ensures that Clinton will never be the President. (Hillary Clinton, that is…)
He also says that being a ‘natural-born citizen should not be the bar one should meet to be the US President, but having served on active duty in the US military SHOULD be.
Again, this is based on that photo…
Having examined the different people’s body language, I cannot but think that Obama is getting a sexual high off of whatever it is that he is watching.

Yes, I’m quite surprised that the first basilisk would be that deeply moved by what we are told she is looking at. She has been around. And one single clean shot in the head is just not that gruesome.
So one wonders just what she is, in fact, witnessing.
And Obama – I would say that Obama is wearing the petulantly guilty expression of a delinquent schoolboy, caught red handed.

Well, that’s to be expected. Assuming he was shot from the front with a hollow-point 5.56 mm NATO round, a small, neat hole would appear in his forehead, and the entire back of his head would come off.
But, you see, that’s about as neat and clean as it gets. There are much more gruesome ways to die.

Well, no.
I would not indulge in gratuitous torture – of the physical type. However, since he is so hell-bent on killing in the name of Allah, I would have picked some particularly nasty deity from the pre-Islamic Arabic pantheon and set his death up to appear to be a ritual sacrifice to that deity: his last thoughts on Earth would have been that he is being sacrificed to be a servant of THAT god and will never see his beloved Allah, in heaven or in hell!!!

Well, the mystery deepens, not only regarding that picture of all the White House cronies gathered in the situation room, but also regarding what really happened in Abbottabad.
According to an article in the Miami Herald, CIA Director Leon Panetta is now saying that they did not see Osama bin Laden killed. So one really has to wonder what they were looking at.
Indeed, they keep changing their story about everything related to this operation.
An article on politico.com reports that White House Press Secretary Jay Carney is now saying that two women were shot, not one, and the one killed was not bin Laden’s wife.
Also, it turns out bin Laden did not hide behind any woman at all and was unarmed when he was killed while fighting barehanded against the armed and armoured commandos swarming into the room.
So it now appears that the Navy SEALs shot two women and an unarmed man.
I find myself with little choice but to revise my opinion of their professionalism.
Disturbingly, the balance of the publicly available evidence suggests that the reason none of the video footage has been released is that it would make the Americans look like thugs, and show Osama bin Laden going down bravely.
Assuming that it actually was bin Laden whom they shot, and that he didn’t die of kidney failure in December 2001, as many claim.
Indeed, if the people in that picture were suddenly seeing that Osama bin Laden was not there at all – that the whole assault was nothing but a big charade – that sure would explain the expressions on their faces. Wouldn’t it–?
In any case, no one is buying any of this story.

It is not that I think there is a huge conspiracy afoot…
Rather, I doubt that the current US administration can be trusted to actually tell the truth.
And, I do not have any formed opinions about what it IS that is happening.
I guess the best way to express it is that I think there is some serious incompetence happening – and a lot is being done to hide it. The exact nature of the incompetence is obscure, to say the least…
The facial expressions in that photograph that was released tell a narrative – but it is difficult to fill in the narrative without understanding the underlying pathologies of all the people in the photo. Still, doing a comparative analysis of the facial expressions (as in, what ‘a’ displays while ‘b’ displays a likely reaction to ‘…’ – that DOES tell us A LOT about the relative ‘limits’ and reactions of the various players.
I suspect that this photo would never have been released if anyone had bothered to do this type of analysis on it ahead of time – in any ‘intelligent’ manner, that is. I can see how incompetents with freakishly overdeveloped amygdalas (aka ‘neurotypicals’ – especially on the ‘touchy-feely’ side of the spectrum – would misread the facial cues to the underlying relative pathologies…

What I meant was, I think the reason the video footage is not being released is because, if it were, it would be painfully obvious that it should be titled
“Abbott and Costello Run a Black Op”
or maybe
“The Three Stooges Pull a Home Invasion.”
Sadly, it has been a long time since any Western government could be trusted to tell the truth – and the rest are even worse. In recent decades, however, an escalating degree of rank incompetence has been overlaid on the endemic duplicity.
