This does sound like an awesome film festival to go to!
And, it offers more than just films: on Saturday, 13th of November 2010, Ezra Levant and Elisabeth May will debate, live, at the National Archives building, as part of this festival.

I attended one of their events – do not be surprised to discover that they’re not “free thinkers” willing to rationally discuss or debate any and all perspectives on a given topic.

However, I do see that they have John Robson as one of their panel members for one of the events: he is a highly respectable and very open minded individual (not to mention his genius and breadth of knowledge), which lent the whole event a good ‘air’, if you excuse the poor terminology. Plus, I thought a debate between Elisabeth and Ezra would probably expose all kinds of thought-provoking perspectives.
Hence, my touting of the event.
